Tutorial for laying a hydrogel film
Necessary material :
- A hydrogel film to the size of your device
- A cleaning wipe (supplied with your hydrogel film)
- A rigid card (supplied with your hydrogel film)
Steps :

Preparation :
- Make sure you are in a clean and dust-free environment.
- Turn off your phone and remove any existing protection. -
Screen cleaning:
- Use the included cleaning cloth to thoroughly clean your phone's screen, making sure to remove any dust, dirt or fingerprints.
- If necessary, use a clean cloth to wipe the screen and dry it completely. -
Preparation of the hydrogel film:
- Gently remove the protective film from the hydrogel film. Be sure to only touch the edges to avoid leaving fingerprints on the film itself. -
Film positioning:
- Carefully align the hydrogel film with your device's screen, matching the cutouts for the speakers, home button, and other phone elements. -
Application of the hydrogel film:
- Use the stiff card to gently smooth the hydrogel film, starting from the center of the screen and pushing gently towards the edges.
- Be sure to remove any air bubbles by applying even pressure from the center to the edges. If necessary, use the stiff card to push the bubbles to the sides until they disappear. -
Removal of the upper protective film:
- Once the hydrogel film has been properly applied, carefully remove the top protective film, being careful not to peel off the film itself. If the film begins to peel off, gently squeeze it and start removing the protective film again. -
Verification and adjustments:
- Check carefully for air bubbles or poorly bonded areas. If necessary, use the hard card to eliminate them.
- If the hydrogel film is not aligned correctly or there are any issues, gently peel it off and repeat the cleaning and application steps.
You have now successfully applied a hydrogel film to your phone. Be sure to check that the film is secure and free of air bubbles. The film may need a few hours to fully adhere to the screen.
